Rhineland-Palatinate – interactive light rail and LRT map. Light rail routes, line coverage and full LRT network — filterable by type and construction status.
Rhineland-Palatinate is also known as Rheinland-Pfalz.
Rhineland-Palatinate – complete light rail and LRT (Light Rail Transit) network drawn from data mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors. Light rail sits between tram and metro: faster and higher-capacity than street trams, but built at a fraction of the cost of a full metro because much of the alignment runs at grade rather than underground. The same vehicle can run on street track through a city centre, transition to a dedicated median reservation in the suburbs and emerge onto a fully segregated interurban corridor — all on the same line. This map shows where those transitions happen and how each light rail system is structured.

Save the Rhineland-Palatinate light rail map as a high-resolution PNG up to A0 at 300 DPI, ready to print, with the light rail lines in your own colour. Paid exports can also be cropped exactly to the Rhineland-Palatinate border. Free exports carry a watermark; an Export Pass removes it. Rhineland-Palatinate rail data is also available as GeoPackage or Shapefile.
