Lombardy – interactive railway map. Mainline, regional and freight rail network — filterable by speed, electrification, track gauge and line usage.
Lombardy is also known as Lombardia.
Lombardy – rail network drawn from data mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors, covering mainline railways, regional lines, commuter rail and freight corridors. Lines are colour-coded by rail type and filterable by maximum permitted speed, electrification system, track gauge and line usage. The map reveals the layered structure of the network: high-speed intercity spines, slower regional connectors, freight-only branches serving ports and industrial zones, and heritage lines preserved for tourism. Switch between filter modes to view the same railway infrastructure through a different lens — the same line that appears as a passenger main line in usage mode will show its permitted speed and electrification system in the other views.
Lombardy – 16,846 mapped railway segments, including 3,175 tram segments, 981 metro segments, 179 light rail segments and 31 narrow gauge segments. Also mapped: 433 high-speed railway segments and 8,239 electrified segments.
Download a printable, high-resolution Lombardy railway map: export the current view as a PNG up to A0 at 300 DPI, with line colours and widths taken from your own preset. Paid exports can also be cropped exactly to the Lombardy border. Free exports carry a watermark; an Export Pass removes it. Lombardy rail data is also available as GeoPackage or Shapefile.
