Basque Country Railway Map — Mainline, Regional and Freight Rail Network

Basque Country – interactive railway map. Mainline, regional and freight rail network — filterable by speed, electrification, track gauge and line usage.

The Basque Country is also known as Euskadi or País Vasco.

Basque Country – rail network drawn from data mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors, covering mainline railways, regional lines, commuter rail and freight corridors. Lines are colour-coded by rail type and filterable by maximum permitted speed, electrification system, track gauge and line usage. The map reveals the layered structure of the network: high-speed intercity spines, slower regional connectors, freight-only branches serving ports and industrial zones, and heritage lines preserved for tourism. Switch between filter modes to view the same railway infrastructure through a different lens — the same line that appears as a passenger main line in usage mode will show its permitted speed and electrification system in the other views.

Basque Country – 4,023 mapped railway segments, including 318 tram segments, 345 metro segments and 1,488 narrow gauge segments. Also mapped: 1,475 electrified segments.

Paid exports can also be cropped exactly to the Basque Country border. Free exports carry a watermark; an Export Pass removes it. Basque Country rail data is also available as GeoPackage or Shapefile.
